About Jason

Jason La Riva is the Landscape Maintenance Director Specialist for the city of Santa Clarita where he organizes projects and helps to implement them in order to allow the region to become more sustainable. Right now the city is in the process of implementing the Santa Clarita Smart Water Irrigation System which is easily the largest smart water management irrigation system in the country. His duties range from overseeing and managing projects such as the smart water management irrigation system as well as researching and experimenting with new ways to conserve water in an area in southern California that does not have an abundance of natural water.
